Going to the pool
Yesterday, we went to the pool with our friends Elizabeth, Bailey and Stacey. The weather was nice, but the water was still very cold, so we just stuck our feet in. We didn't stay very long, but it was nice to get out of the house and enjoy the summer weather for a little while. One funny note about being out in the sun - Adeline's doctor repeatedly said last week to make sure to put sunscreen on her because she is soooo white. Turks are a little darker skinned than Americans, so the doctor was a little amazed at how white Adeline's skin was. Well, we were careful, and Adeline didn't get any sun.
Adeline doesn't really know what to think of the cold water. The first time she stuck her feet in she cried, but now she is getting used to it.
